My blog often talks about about how important it is to have faith in your long-term investment strategy. Today, I want to talk about similar ideals in a greater context.
As investors, we learn how to sustain financial faith. We remember how resilient human enterprise has been so far. We use the abiding strengths of our global markets as a guiding beacon. We avoid getting ahead of ourselves and our financial goals.
We understand that doing so does not guarantee a happy ending. But we accept that it gives us the best odds for reaching a place where our faith is rewarded.
Almost daily, it seems that our faith is challenged in other areas of our lives as well. In the face of change, it’s easy to lose sight of your plans, your dreams, and the relationships you’ve built with friends, family and others in the world around you.
This Thanksgiving, be it resolved: Let’s commit to coming together – doubling up our efforts to build on an enduring faith in our most valued relationships.
In my work with Rotary International, I’ve seen the positive change that comes about when people work together to improve the lives of others. For example, over many visits to El Salvador over the years, I’ve been able to work on clean water and sanitation projects, as well as support a clinic that provides services to more than 25,000 people. I’m proud that our efforts have made a difference for those individuals and families, just as I’m proud to work with clients to achieve their financial and life goals.
I believe that everything we do can serve the greater good. In that spirit, we wish you and your loved ones a Thanksgiving holiday to cherish in the years ahead. All of us at AMDG Financial would also like to take a moment to thank you for inviting us into your life, entrusting us with your family’s hopes and dreams, and having faith in the advice we offer. Yours is a relationship we value deeply, every day of every year. Thank you for being you. Happy Thanksgiving!
